Rotary Club Shrimp and Catfish Festival Set for April 18

Sponsored by Community Toyota*Honda*Kia*Cartopia, the Rotary Club of Baytown will be hosting its 17 th

Annual Shrimp and Catfish Festival on Saturday, April 18 at the GCCISD Professional Development Center at 2610 N. Alexander in Baytown.

>The Shrimp and Catfish Festival is the primary fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Baytown. With over 100 members, the Rotary Club is committed to its motto: Service Above Self. The money raised at the Shrimp and Catfish Festival is used to support other worthy service organizations locally, such as the GCCISD Education Foundation and Bay Area Homeless Services, as well as select international projects. For example, a contingent of Baytown Rotarians recently went to Costa Rica to assist in engineering and digging a water well that will service over 2000 people that, prior to having a well, had to walk up to 5 miles just to access drinking water.

The Shrimp and Catfish Festival will begin at 11:00am and go to 3:00pm, with a live auction beginning at 12:30pm. Individual meal tickets are $20.00, and raffle tickets are $100. Only 1000 raffle tickets are being sold, and prizes range from $100 gift cards to the Grand Prize, either a 2026 Toyota CorollaCross or a 2026 Honda HR-V Sport. There will also be a silent auction, bingo and lots of family activities, such as face painting and a bounce house for the kids.
